Design and Structure of Arsenal-2
Arsenal-2 will feature a modern shipbuilding system: a system built on software-defined manufacturing and advanced production technologies. It will be built on a 2 million square foot area and designed for high-volume, high-precision manufacturing on a 187-acre plot of land.
The layout of the facility is optimized for production. Distances between fabrication, assembly, testing, and integration areas have been reduced, and staging bottlenecks found in traditional shipyards have been eliminated. A 1,200-foot pile dock and multi-modal road and rail access will support large-scale component movement.
